Your 11 Month Old Baby

Your baby may be very busy these days testing his independence, but he will always need you near for a hug and a kiss.

Feeding. There is a wide range of what your baby may be eating at this age. If your baby is eating table food, your cooking should be well rounded. Try to cut down on frying and fats. Avoid fast foods until a little older. Encourage fruits, vegetables, cheese and other healthy foods and snacks.

Coping with Colic

Most newborns fuss and cry. They have just left the comfort of the womb, where the temperature was perfect and all their needs were instantly met. They are suddenly in a different world, one with bright lights, loud sounds, and sometimes, a lack of instant food and comfort. It can be trying for all parents to adjust to having a newborn around.
