A Drink or Two May Benefit Some Heart Patients

A study published in the June issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology found that light to moderate alcohol consumption could benefit patients who already had some degree of left ventricular dysfunction, or LVD. LVD means that the left ventricle, the main pumping chamber of the heart, is weakened. (more…)
